Legg's exclusive high-barrier, multi-wall packaging protects the seasoning's freshness and flavor for at least 12 months, with no MSG added. A mild pork sausage seasoning that contains red pepper, sage, and black pepper, each package correctly seasons 25lbs of meat. You can make this seasoning with pork or change it up with chicken, beef, or your favorite game meat.
The suggested directions are as follows: Coarsely grind 25lbs of meat through a 1/2" plate, then transfer it to a mixer. Add the seasoning and up to 12oz of water (if desired), and mix for 2 minutes. Regrind the mixture through a 3/16" plate, and then package it in bulk or stuff it into casings.
